Covacrete NXTGEN is designed to transform existing concrete into a work of art. As with STENCILCRETE, Covacrete NXTGEN can utilise stencils to produce a desired effect, or with filament tape create a unique design. Concrete can also be divided and coloured by section with the spray on application. Multi-tone appearances can also be created by ‘flecking’ the surface with a contrasting colour to produce a fauxstone finish. In a general application, a base layer is trowelled onto the prepared concrete surface to provide the desired grout colour. The top coat is applied via a hopper gun to spray the top colour over the base layer and any stencil or tape design. The surface needs to be sealed to protect and lock in the rich colour for years to come.
