STAMPCRETE
Stampcrete is designed to recreate the appearance of wood, stone and slate by impressing the wet surface of concrete. The primary colour of Stampcrete is achieved by working an oxide hardener into the concrete surface and utilising a same or contrasting colour release agent to create a toned effect. The stamp moulds leave the appearance of natural textures, seams and faults and once the concrete has cured, the excess release agent is washed off to reveal the finished product. Sealing is required to protect the surface and extend the lifetime of the colour.
